The TS-673A-8G is built for demanding storage tasks such as virtual machine hosting, large-scale backups, media streaming, and multi-user file sharing. It ships pre-installed with 8 GB DDR4 RAM (expandable up to 64 GB with optional ECC memory support).
A key highlight is its dual-OS capability: it runs the standard feature-rich QTS operating system out of the box but can be switched to QuTS hero, a ZFS-based operating system that provides end-to-end data integrity, inline deduplication, and data compaction for critical enterprise environments.
